Blackrock Casino will be screening the Springboks taking on Argentina on Saturday, 17 August in the Blackrock Indaba Conference Centre. Boktown, the official Springbok rugby supporters’ village, creates a nail-biting sporting experience that goes far beyond 80 minutes on the field. The village offers passionate Springbok fans the best alternative to being at the game. Enthusiastic fans gather to support their favourite teams live on the big screen while enjoying a day filled with family fun: live entertainment, interactive activities for the kids, bars, scrumptious food, great competitions with amazing prizes and giveaways on the day. The best part? Entry is free! We will open the doors at 15h00 – kick-off is at 17h00. The first 50 people to arrive will get a complimentary drink, so make sure you arrive early to claim your free beer, cider, glass of wine, soft drink or water to start the festivities!

Get revved up and Show Off Your Ride!
This much anticipated annual Show Off Your Ride car/auto expo promises to be bigger than ever! Car sound enthusiasts will be treated to some of the loudest vehicles in the world – with IASCA South Africa judging the car sound competition. Speed freaks and drag racers will have the opportunity to put their vehicles through their paces on the mobile dyno machine, with trophies up for grabs for the car with the most kilowatts of power. A host of spinners and drifters from around the country will keep spectators thoroughly entertained throughout the day. But that’s not all – buckle up for The Speed and Sound Magazine HOT HATCH CHALLENGE, remote control drift cars, go karts, live bands, live DJ, a beer garden, food stalls and incredible kiddie’s entertainment. Maguire’s South Africa is pulling out all the stops with a live paint restoration demo along-side the ever-popular Show ‘n Shine display. The expo, taking place on Saturday, 3 August starts at 13h00 in the Blackrock Casino parking area and the back of the hotel. Entry is R60 per person and kids under 13 years enter free!
